What you need
- 12 CE hours earned during your current two-year Florida renewal cycle
- At least 9 technical hours; no more than 3 hours in personal development
- A separate DOH-approved one-hour HIV/AIDS update or the DOH-linked Omnibus AIDS Act reading

- 24.75 Florida-approved technical CE hours
- 24.75 ARRT Category A credits through the same course
- One open-book online exam and a downloadable completion certificate
The separate Florida HIV/AIDS requirement is not included in this course.

Before you renew
- Match your renewal dates. Florida renewal and your ARRT biennium may differ. Use CE earned in your current Florida cycle, and do not repeat the same course for credit within that cycle. Check the expiration date on your Florida license / certificate.
- Complete the HIV/AIDS requirement. Take an approved one-hour update or use the reading alternative linked from Florida’s CE requirements.
- Choose Florida credit when claiming your certificate. Select “Yes, I need Florida credits” and enter the digits from your Florida license / certificate number. This is your Florida state number, not your ARRT number.
Florida reporting
Florida reporting is not yet active. Keep your certificate and contact us if you need credits reported before renewal. Check your reported hours in the CE tab of your Florida license record.
